Well well well… Our horses have kept me very busy in the last few months and this has kept me away from my computer, I really apologise for this. 2018 is being a very exciting year and I will start introducing you the horses that has been sold in 2018 and have left our stud to leave to fantastic new homes in very different countries.
Some years ago we sold our stallion Trueno XXXI to Slovakia. In the beginning of the year we received some news from his owner Daria from Damur Andalusians, he was doing very well and Daria was looking for some new horses for her breeding program and her ridding school. Cuzco looked like a good idea to teach her pupils, a gelding trained in medium level but with nice movements too. She also met one of Trueno’s sons, Gandalf, and felt in love with him. This young boy was doing nicely for his age and had very nice potential and a temperament to match with it. And for her breeding program Viena XI was the perfect match, Damur Andalusians breeds horses with strong Cartujano bloodlines and Viena seemed to be the right choice. So all them left to Slovakia and are happily living there.

Vestal VI
Lidia is a really lovely person, she was helping her friend Jeroen to look for a nice broodmare to produce quality dressage foals. She has two lovely stallions and decided to choose Vestal to cross with them . She is a mare with a solid bloodlines of dressage horses, sister of the GP stallion Nautico III and grandaughter of the Calificado and GP stallion Ingenioso XX and has super nice movements and a very sportive conformation. Vestal left to the Netherlands and there she was broken to ride and is now expecting a lovely foal for 2019 season.
Japan seem to be a very far away country, but sometimes internet makes us look much closer. Yuko was looking for a PRE stallion for his friend Koichi. We exported some horses to this country last year and she heard about us. we needed some months to talk, discuss about the options. She sent me information about the stables where our horse would go to and I simply loved it. They decided to go for Barlovento, a stallion with nice movements and stunning morphology and he started his trip to Japan. A lot of weeks of quarantine were needed but finally he got home and met Koichi. They loved one each other and he is now adapting to his new life in Japan.
We have known Caroline Clauwaert for years. When we met her she was a girl with a dream. To become a proffesional rider and begin her bussiness. Now the dream has come true. She has her stables El Castillo Sporthorses in Belgium and she needed some horses to join her team for lessons and competition. Some special words deserve our stallion Orion VIII, he is a PSG and Calificado stallion. He has been a very strong pillar in our breeding program, producing foals of excellent quality and also one of our most
loved competition horses. Now he will be in charge of helping all Caroline pupils to learn higher dressage movements and, of course, a big adition to her breeding program. Azahar XXIX is indeed a very special horse, beautiful, powerful and with fantastic movements. He brings all the best bloodlines of Yeguada Aimaran, Heroica II,
Orion VIII, Ingenioso XX… and has everything to succeed. We will see him and Caroline showing their quality in the competition ring very soon. Fidelio de Aimaran is a young promise with all the beauty and grace of the carthusian bloodlines. Now he is a part of El Castillo Sporthorses competition team and very soon he will see him and Caroline dancing together in the competition arena! Antikaria is also living now in Belgium, Caroline fromEl Castillo Sporthorses has picked her to be a part of her breeding program. She is tall and solid and has pure carthusian bloodlines, we are sure she will produce lovely foals for Caroline!
I couldn’t finish this post without saying a huge thank you. Thanks to all of you for taking care so well of our horses, for keeping us updated in their progress. Thank you to the ones that decided to come back once more and to the ones than trusted us for the first time. The dream goes on thanks to all of you!
