sicab2013_ing_media_1024x1398SICAB is, without any doubt, the most important event around PRE horses. In SICAB you have the opportunity to see all the best Spanish horses that are competing in Morphology, Dressage, Alta Escuela, Carriage and Jumping. You could have also the chance to meet breeders, tack makers, Spanish costume designers and sellers… and all the important people in the horse industry in Spain. You have time to enjoy the competition, have a good typical Spanish meal, spend the aftenoon doing shopping, have fun in the fantastic “Espectaculo” and finish the day with some drinks and party in the breeders area. For sure you won’t be dissapointed! This year would be hold between the 3rd and the 8th December in the Convention center in Sevilla.

But how to qualify to compete there with your horse? The rules are different depending on the discipline, for driving, jumping and Alta Escuela, you just need to pay the quote and inscribe. For Morphology this year is much simple than the previous years. There is going to be a number of horses that could be inscribed to Sicab 2013 and they will enter following the following preference:

1-Horses who has been competing in the 2013 Morphology competitions sponsored by ANCCE. They will need to inscribe before the 5th November.

2-Horses that hasn’t competed in the 2013 Morphology competitions sponsored by Ancce, if there are free places they could inscribe between 5th and the 15th November. The preference for this group of horses is:Endrino SICAB'93

  1. Untill 8 horses for Ancce members having other horses competing in the Ancce circuit inscribed for Sicab.
  2. Untill 8 horses for non Ancce members having other horses competing in the Ancce circuit inscribed for Sicab.
  3. Untill 4 horses for Ancce member with no horses competing in the Ancce circuit.
  4. Untill 4 horses for non Ancce member with no horses competing in the Ancce circuit.

3- If there should be free places more horses could be inscribed untill the 24th November.

For the Final of the Ancce Cup of Dressage is a bit more complicated. The horses would get points for every dressage national/international competition when it is sponsored by Ancce they enter, the points would be the addittion of points you get for the ranking and for the points you get for the average of the marks of the two days competition. If the horse attends to a CDN** then it would get points only for the Amaranto Huelvaranking, if it is a CDN*** he would get points for the ranking and the marks and if it is CDI or the Championship of Spain they would get double points for the ranking and simple points for the marks. The get more or less points depending of how many PRE there are competin on each level. At the end of the season  and just before Sicab, the Ancce adds the points of the three better competition of each horse and the 12 best horses of each level would be qualified to go to the Final in Sicab.
