2013 Aimaran Babies

This year litter stands for their quality, for some mares have been their first baby and they have produced wonderful foals with nice conformation, beauty and movements!

How do we choose our stallions for breeding? First of all we pick the ones the stands for their temperament, movements and racial conformation. We prefer classical bloodlines like Bocado, Urquijo and Bohorquez, and of course we use our own homebred stallions. Ingenioso XX is a Calificado stallion and was performing very successfully in GP Dressage, Quejio IV is a pure carthusian Calificado stallion with awesome conformation and big size… We have even had a filly out of Utrerano VII (the sire of Fuego de Cardenas the PRE olimpic dressage stallion) and Aldebaran XVII one of our Calificado

broodmares. When you work with proven stallions is easier to define the crosses you are going to do. Stallions use to transmit some features more than other. For example, some stallion tend to produce good standing, or taller foals, or good impulsion, or straight movements… So the most important is to look for the right stallion for each mare. For example if you have a mare with nice conformation but note very big movements, you need to look for a stallions that transmit big movements, then you should have higher chances to have a baby beautiful and with movements.
